Constellation Energy provides multiple grants of $25,000 each year for science and technology-related education programs in grades 6–12 (and $50,000 for higher education grants). Last year, 17 projects received funding totaling $400,000.

The program, E² Energy to Educate, seeks proposals that offer "opportunities to experience problem-solving today's and tomorrow's energy challenges."

Proposals should be for hands-on projects impacting 100 or more students and should be along the lines of one of the program's themes, which include:

  • Transportation of the future;
  • Generating energy at home;
  • Harnessing waste.

The 2017 deadline for applications is Oct. 1. Complete details, including a few examples of past winners, can be found at constellation.com/community/e2-energy-to-educate.html.
